Having been born deaf in my left ear and severely hearing impaired in my right, I can attest to the fact hearing is not essential.

While taste is important, and can alert a person to some dangers, it is mostly only used to allow individuals to enjoy their food. Thus, this too is not really essential.

Smell can also alert a person to danger but usually just enhance life and is not absolutely necessary for the continuance of a successful life.

Touch is important to a human’s safety, since it alerts an individual to any injury that is occurring, but an individual can achieve the same awareness by being sufficiently alert with their final sense.

Sight allows a person to maintain an awareness of their surroundings and identify potential threats to their safety. Also, this sense also allows a person to read, and thus receive information, and is necessary to write, paint, and perform other creative and commercial functions. Thus a human could potentially live a long, profitable life with this sense alone, making this sense the best possible choice.

This is a very difficult question for one to answer. If I had to choo se, I would choose the sense of taste because I just cannot imagine having the absence of touch, hearing, sight and smell!
I am so very thankful to GOD that I have all 5 senses!!!!

Taste. I'm a real picky eater. There aren't many foods that I like enough to say: Wow, yummy! I pretty much eat because I have to, so it wouldn't really make any difference if I couldn't taste the food anyway.

i might could pick flavor. there is too many stuff that i like doing that demands sight, consisting of snowboarding, i won't be in a position to stay devoid of listening to song, specific smells calm me, and not being waiting to experience could be extra stressful than no longer being waiting to flavor.
