16th ammendment did not allow any new taxation. Truth is there IS NO LAW for a direct INCOME TAX.

Yes, the constitution. Not necessarily any specific amendments, but the power it grants to congress.

Congress has the right to tax and the tax code is the vehicle used to enforce that power.

People need to do their homework. The 16th Amendment was NEVER ratified! It never became a legal law. Also...look up the 861 tax code. It tells you WHO is suppose to pay income tax. I know....it is collected only through force. But some people have been found innocent in a court of law. Because no lawyer can show the judge the law where it says people HAVE to pay it. Some juries are wising up to this as well. Smart people!

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

16th Amendment. Might want to look into it.

I will put it this way.

Ask Al Capone. He bootlegged, robbed, and murdered. But he really messed up when he didn't pay his taxes, and that is what he went to prison for.
