Don't worry! Once i burned bread in the microwave and it smelled so bad all the day long, and there was so much smoke, i understand how you feel.
I did say it was me who did that because everyone started running, for they thought it is a fire.

Once i blew up a heater at work, it was just old. Things happen, you know. Say that you did that, but you don't know what happened and that you did nothing special.

Run quick down to Wally World and buy another one. They are pretty cheap now. No one will know the difference!!
