Your question doesn't sound dumb at all! Yes it is very possible! When I went into labor with my daughter there was just a little tear in the sack and the way her head was it was only leaking a very small amount at a time. If your leaking and it doesn't smell like pee then you need to call your doctor right away.

That does not sound dumb.. It can break just a little. My water leaked for an entire week before it completely broke. We did tests to make sure it was the amniotic fluid and then did an ultrasound to make sure the baby was fine with enough fluid, then a few days after that I went into the hospital because I finally started to get contractions and my water completely broke then.

A break is a break and the flood gates open. But yes, your water can leak a little bit. In either case, you need to go to the hospital when it happens because it means things are opening up to the baby and can increase risk of infection. If you think you might be leaking, my doctor suggested I dress in a robe or a nightgown only with no panties. If you have stuff trickle all the way down your leg, its probably just pee. If its a little sticky on your thighs and your hair, it's your water leaking.

Definitly, my water started to break around midnight, I could tell as I was leaking a bit, then by 2am it fully broke. I was at the hospital during this and the nurses said its normal, some people don't realize they are leaking a bit, some do.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I had a small tear in the amniotic sac. So basically I was leaking fluid for a week. Every morning I would call the dr to let them know. Its perfectly fine they would say. Come in when you start having contractions. After a week I finally went to the hospital and I was having mild contractions. So they went ahead and finished breaking the sac. Delivery was too bad.

Yes it is possible to just leak fluid. My water broke and I thought it was alot. Apparently there is more...because it broke again (or seemed to me...a first timer) I was told that the baby's head can cover the cervix and stop the water from coming out like a plug. But you can leak fluid.

it is possible to have a small leak. it happened to me and i thought it was just some discharge since people wwould tell me that when ur water breaks its a continuous flow . Little did i know that my water had already broken. I went to see my obgyn right away and he sent me to the hospital. So, it occurs differently for everybody!!!

Your water can not break "just a little".... however you can have a slow leak. If you question weather or not your water has broken see a doctor they will do a pH test and find out for sure.

i heard that in only 5% of women their water breaks (like gushes out). in many it just leaks for a little bit at a time, until it breaks as a whole, or just keeps leaking and leaking. and in most, they feel the contractions, and their doctor has to artificially break their bag of waters. either way, call your doc immedietly
