Are humdifiers or vaporizers good ways to get rid of chemical fumes from homes?

Humidifiers and vaporizers won't take chemical fumes from a home you would need either to ventilate the house to the outside, use an activated charcoal air filter, or use houseplants to help absorb some of the chemicals.

Those are all right, but you could also put little bowls of vinager around, the vinager will soak up the fumes and the smells.

I would think that adding more water to the air would actually HOLD the smells there.

Unfortunately, I have no facts to backup my suspicion!
