I came across the avatar on Live Journal that shows Mr. Fantastic slapping the Invisible Woman! Judging by her haircut, I'm assuming the attack took place in the late 80's. Does anybody know anything about this??

Without seeing the image, it could be a couple of different times...

1. when Sue (the Invisible Woman) was a multiple personality and became a villian called Malice

2. when Reed (Mr. Fantastic) was possessed by Dr. Doom (one of MANY times)

3. Sue was replaced by a Skrull look-alike who convinced Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine, & Ghost Rider that the original FF was dead

4. it wasn't Reed at all, but his father Nathaniel Richards in disguise

Also, during the Infinity War storyline, several heroes were replaced by doppelgangers, and Reed was one of them. And I just thought of another one. At one point Onslaught controlled members of the team in an attempt to get to Franklin.
