I think that it might help if some of them walked a mile in the shoes of the people they criticize. For example, many of them are 100% against abortion, regardless of the circumstances. I think that if one of them were raped or otherwise saddled with an unexpected, unwanted pregnancy, they might think twice. Sure, they might decide to keep the child or give it up for adoption, but they still might be less judgmental afterwards. Also, I think that some of them might have more compassion if they worked a s**t job and had no insurance and suddenly became sick. Perhaps some of them would understand the importance of having available, affordable healthcare for everyone.

Ha, good question. Maybe for proof that the way they are happy living is just a mirage. Which is pretty hard to prove because I'm a Conservative, and my thoughts and views on things have served me just fine. I have a wife and 3 kids, live in a beautiful house with a pool in Southern California at the age of 26, have a great career as an engineer. My kids are being raised under Conservative ways and it has been rather pleasant and not as stressful raising them when they know there are rules and they have been taught to respect their elders. They are only allowed one hour a day in front of the television, as a result, our kids are active, and their interests are in extracurricular activities instead of veggin out in front of the television or computer. We go on snowboarding trips in the winter, trips to the lake with the boat and jet skiis in the Summer. My wife's car and my truck are paid for, we have plenty of money in they bank, health insurance, life insurance, and dental insurance. Now if you can prove to me that I am not happy and my life is a mirage, then maybe I'll think about becoming a Liberal. Other than that, I'm a Conservative and proud of it.

Not much since they enjoy the same rights that Unions and Liberals created with our government system daily. You know infrastructure, roads, electricity, water, and food sources. Education is right at the top of the list unless you have been home schooled. Home schooling has validity with our present work force though or education credibility. Conservatives have to attend a Liberal school system if they want to participate.
