My menstrual cycle since I was young has been very painful. About a week before my period I will get slight cramps which lets me know it's on it's way. The past year, I have been getting small spots for about 2 days. Really bad cramps. Then nothing for 2 more days. Finally, I will start my period, but it starts with dark brown discharge, like you have at the end of your period, then I will get my full blown heavy cycle. So, my period last about a week, starting from the first spotting. And it's so painful that no Aleve or Midol or heating pad will even phase my pain...
Does anyone else have periods like this?
I went to the doctor last year, and she didn't really tell me anything. I am still paying that bill because I don't have insurance. So, I don't want to go to the dr again. Too expensive... Is there something particular this might be thats causing such weird periods.

could be endometriosis or fibroid cyst. i would get my period backwards. it would start out as yours does, get heavy around my 3rd day and stay heavy until my 7th day. then go away completely.

Your Dr was a jerk and you should sue. You probably have endometriosis or some other sever condition but due to your lack of insurance they didn't care enough to actually treat you. You should go to a woman's clinic or Planned Parenthood - they have a sliding fee schedule and can help you get the medical attention you need.
Your period should not cause debilitating pain and any reputable OB/GYN knows that. I would report the Dr you saw to the AMA after you get a real diagnosis, they need to be chastised and possibly disbarred for lack of care. They are supposed to treat a patient regardless of ability to pay and Dr's who show such obvious prejudice should be reprimanded.
Good Luck and please seek medical assistance from a facility that is there to help uninsured women.

hi, Sage. Pheromones look in all danger, yet i do not recognize of any conclusive learn. both menstruation and menarche might want to be laid low with close association with adult adult males and females individuals. Many postulations about the precise result are established on survival and duplicate, even aggressive duplicate. for my area, i might want to imagine duplicate and aggressive duplicate are the most in all danger. i could not parent how survival might want to come into play, till it replaced into something like faculties of fish: that's idea that small fish who shuttle in faculties make more desirable sturdy aims; their circulation motives flashing, which pulls interest in numerous guidelines, supposedly so a predator couldn't follow one objective. in addition, even as menstrual cycles sync, each and every of the girls individuals in the crew get bitchy at the same time, making it almost no longer accessible for a guy to unmarried out easily one of them for retaliation. the guy will develop into perplexed, stymied, provides up and both swims off into the abyss to think about his lifestyles, or beaches on a sand bar till break of day at the same time with his guy acquaintances. ~Os

If it has been a year since you last pap/pelvic then you need to go in and get this done whether or not you have insurance. Try planned parenthood or a low cost womens clinic to get all of this done.
