Can we have dual desktop in a computer( to switch to the other desktop with a single key stroke)?

Just like the XP supports multiple login, can we have multiple desktop running different platforms that can be switched with a single or few key strokes?

Hi. Yes. Get a KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) switch. I have one from Iogear and just tapping "Scroll lock" twice changes from PC 1 to PC 2.
