Highest integrity...NO. I think it is a chickenshit way to agree with the president without letting your constituants know you are agreeing with him and pretending to fight him all the way.
If they don't agree with him, they need to grow a pair, stand up and say NO. If they do agree with him say so! I'm a democrat, and I agree with him.
I have to say it disappoints me to know I belong to a party that won't stand up and do the right thing OPENLY. It just makes us all look like the bunch of cowards that the conservatives have always called us. Agree or disagree I don't care what their individual stance is, but Be Proud of it regardless.

I gotta tell you I agree again with you. This non binding resolution stuff is stupid. Either put the hammer down and stop the funding or support the troop surge as long as we get a hard time table for these guys' return.

You're absolutely right.

The President, with the approval from most of Congress, sent our soldiers in harm's way. We need to let them know how much we support them.

Politicians are posturing for elections being held 20 months from now! I voted for it before I voted against it. It sends the wrong message to our troops, and for that matter to the terrorists. They see a little Vietnam lack-of-will creeping in.

You want integrity? So do I. A President that sends troops to die for a war base on lows is a good example of "Lowest Integrity".

The only person playing games with our troops is George W. Bush. You know it. I know it. The world knows it.

I agree - they have wasted over a week on these games of theirs. Let's lead the country and come up with real resolutions to the issues we face.

You mean the leadership the Republicans showed by trying to BLOCK it?

Talk about cowards...won't even go on the record and talk about it while sending soldiers to go and fight it.

Those oh so brave Repubs...
