I'm not sure it shows all of America up, all of Alabama sure. Good show though.

Out of curiosity, I saw some clips of the show, and it really isn't even representative of Alabama.
Quite frankly, if you drove through some blighted, working-class neighborhood in England with "Screw Arsenal" or "The Queen is a hooker" on your car, you would get a similar response.
The funny thing I've noticed in my many travels to England is that you are just as insular as the worst Americans.

It was the best episode of Top Gear yet, James May needing the jump leads, to start the Cadalic to get away from the angry mob, hilarious!

Don't think it really shows America for what it is, it's just that the slogans they wrote struck 'raw nerves' in that part of the world...
I thought that episode was the best ever.... So bloody funny!!!

why are christians so judgemental and intollerant? i thought christians wer meant to be forgiving and all that.
it was hilarious though, and 'getting eachother killed' nearly came true.
i wish i had the guts to do that kinda thing lol i will be telling my grandkids about that episode in 50 years ha ha

I posted this answer to another question today on the same subject:
"Saw the repeat last night. I thought it was the best TG I've ever seen. I never fancied going to the US and it just re-inforced my opinion.
ROFL!"
