the pc tower is the actual "box" that holds your cd tray, power button, all the inner workings of a computer except the monitor and keyboard and mouse. if anyone knows who invented this it would be great. i have heard that it was a man named lee or orvill tencher? but can not find any results on a search.

Hi. I don't think anyone "invented" the PC tower. It just evolved from older machines. I had a MicroVAX back in the day and it was in a modern looking tower.

It will probably make its own way out or get minced by the fan. If it dropped dead on the motherboard and the fluid from its body ran out, it might cause a problem, but it is pretty unlikely. Open it if it puts your mind at rest, but I would not be too worried.

You may have the wrong name. I tried doing a search on the names you gave and nothing came up. You may want to go back and see what the real name may be.
