shravan was this young youth who is known 4 his devotion to his parents.both his parents were blind. he carried both of them to all the pilgrimages in india i.e he had this bamboo stick balanced on his shoulders.2 baskets tied on either sides wid the parents sitting in them.
he was accidently killed by dashratha. his parents cursed dashratha that he lose his son too .
that is why rama goes on an exile 4 14 yrs and dashratha dies.
