If you download it would it be an online dictionary?
If you want a freebie, the best ones would be at the gutenberg project on line, they have dictionaries, but are slightly out of date
It may be easier to get either the Brittanica Almanac, which is about 10 Dollars, ands this has access to the latest dsefinitions, or visit compusa and buy a cheap CD with loads of latest definitions.

If you want to find any meaning.. jus goto google and type
"define:" followed by ur word.
Example: if you want to find the meaning of the word "access"
then type:
define:acccess
on google search page.
It will pull the meaning of "access" form all the possible dictionaries on the internet.

you dont even need to download this one. just go to www.dictionary.com and type in your word, give the meaning and synonyms and antonyms , it even has a thesaurus and other things on the search bar.

I use dictionary.com I dont think you can download it onto your computer though.
