I have a 13 year old son and have joint custody with his father. My problem is this. His father wants to take him on a cruise this summer and Has already told me that my son will stay in bed watching tv in the stateroom while his father and wife go to the casino and party. I don't think that he is old enough to do this but his father thinks it's ok. Do I have any legal grounds to keep him from going out of the country with him? He has informed me that the custody papers say he has every right to take him and that if i didn't let him he would show up at the door with the police and force me. My paper say that he has to inform me of his whereabouts and lenght of stay but nothing about going out of state or the country. Please help.
