My Compaq Presario 1245 laptop is showing "Boot Disk Failure" at startup, and the Cd drive doesnt work. They both show up in BIOS, and I have tried changing the boot order. Booting from a floppy doesnt work either. Would the Cd drive not working be caused by the hard drive not working? Does the fact that they show up in BIOS mean that they still work?? What should I do??
