Next year is the big year. We are soon about to say goodbye Mr. Bush and welcome someone else into the White House. Next will mark an interesting race. Not only do we once again have a black man running for the presidency but now a woman. A very powerful woman at that. It is now the 21st century and this nation is all about equality (for the most part)...What do you all think ?

So far I have not seen a Republican that can beat Hillary or concern for the human condition like Obama. I believe they can do it.

I'm a dem, but I'm not thrilled about either of these folks. Much as I hate to say it, I don't think the voting population will give a woman, or a black man, a presidential nod.

That being said, and purely from a fundraising point of view, Hillary has the most charismatic fundraiser on the planet working for her, and money certainly talks. And more women vote than men.

Obama lacks experience, but some feel he is very charismatic himself. I haven't seen enough of him to make a judgement at this point but I *will* be watching. And again, more women vote than men, and Obama is a good looking young guy.

Maybe a dual ticket JHillary and Barack? Time will tell.

If Hilary gets the candidacy, she will be the demise of the Dem party the next election.

I am registered Dem, have liberal views, live in NY (and have yet to see anything done that Clinton said she would do, except the healthcare thing which turned out to be a way for the state to make $$ off the healthcare leaving the middle class in the dust again) and hopes that Giuliani runs. He is the only rep I would vote for. And Hilary is probably the only Dem I wouldn't vote for.

I kind of like the fact that Obama has no experience. He has very little baggage. Hillary has many issues. One thing is Bill. She is a consolation prize compared to her hubby. He is a better politician and speaker. She has baggage. She voted to go to Iraq base on her 10 years of observing the situation. That is what she told code pink in 2003(see link below). Her sure fire way to get in is to have Bill die of a mystery heart attack right before the vote. Don't be surprised if it happens.

Hillary Clinton has no furture. She's slow, plastic (as in, she always has the same expression), not very bright compared to Gore or Edwards, and (although this shouldn't have to matter) uncharismatic. Obama could be a candidate except his middle name is Saddam, and the race issue. I don't care about the candidate's gender or race, I care about the issues.

If Obama can keep his foot out of his mouth he has a chance. Hillary on the other hand is just plain annoying. Only person who makes me change the channel.

don't count on it.....this is still a good ole boy country......and they will do what they can so that no woman nor Muslim will sit in the highest office in our land. Hillary was already president...for 8 years.....she did an awful job then....and you think ppl are going to allow her to do it again.

Great Candidates??? How can you rate them as great candidates already?. There has not been one caucus or primary. You are terribly naive. The campaign makes the great or bad candidate, not your enthusiasm. I'm afraid you are gonna be very disappointed.

It's very exciting and I will be voting for Hillary and Obama when the time comes. We need a BIG change from a pseudo-cowboy, redneck, ignorant alcoholic to a smart, classy, eloquent lady.

Yeah? Name 3 reasons why they would be good candidates. To answer your question, I doubt they make it.

Neither has executive experience. Neither has business experience.
