I don't think you do a resume. In California you go to an agency. They take your picture there. I remember there was a number I could call every day, one for women, a different one for men, and you'd listen to these recordings about jobs available at that time and if you fit the profile you go.

look for casting calls in your area and ask them what you need to bring each one is different some supply scripts some dont!

don't forget it's not what you know it's WHO you know!
I have this buddy who does films and i get phone calls all the time to be extra in films!
was in a club seen last week!
so network and make those connections!
