I think absence is a bad idea adding insecure feelings and doubts but really depends on how secure you are with your relationship, alot of people I know suffer from these feeling when they are separated from their spouse/ lover to long.

having a husband in the military, I can say that absence makes the heart hurt, not grow fonder - and out of sight equals MORE on the mind!!!! ALL THE TIME!

I think it does a little. For a year my currant bf and I had to be long distance. We talked every day and it was always amazing to see him. I live with him now and have done for over a year. It's definatly _not_ out of sight out of mind.

I dont think it necessarly makes it go fonder, but it helps you truly realise how you feel about someone, whether it is for the better of not!

Sometimes....

But if you are sick of the person, their absence makes you realize that you don't miss them and that it is time to kick their rear to the curb!! ;)
