I am playing as a troll hunter and i picked mining and smeltering as my professions. i just started about 2 weeks ago and didnt do my homework about this stuff before hand. how do i go about getting rid of these professions so i can pick two up i really like? ive been told (on webs sites) that it can be done but i dont know how. p.s. 2 weeks first guy ever and im at 25 and moving right up. keep playing guys.

it doesn't cost you anything to unlearn a profession. just press your "k" button or your skills button (default is k) then look under the professions section then see the profession you want to get rid of and there should be a little x or a circle with a / through it click on that and it should ask you "do you want to unlearn --- profession?" then hit yes. and that should do it

I dont know for sure, but go back to the trainers doubel check if you can unlearn anything, if not then go into your skills "K", and I think it should let you unlearn it maybe, you can I know that though, but it also may cost you something to unlearn it.

1. mining and smelting are both only one profesion
2, if you want to get rid of it, go to your characters page>go to skills>look for skill to delete> click on the green circle.
its free to unlearn proffesions.
