I'm interested in creating my own cooking show. The pilot is no problem, but how do i get it on TV?

I can probably get it on my local cable, but that is a small market. Any ideas?

Start with local cable, try build a local following... and then use the tapes to pitch it to other networks..

.. Probably need to hire an agent if you are serious.

Every year the Food Network sponsors a contest for upcoming chefs. You could enter that when it is offered again. If you can't wait that long, open a small catering company. Do small events around town. This may also lead to something.

try public access TV.. they will put anything on tv..
