i know the texas laws are out of wack, but i have a warrent for writing a hot check when i was 16. if i paid the warrent off would i still have to serve time for writing it or am i off the hook for paying it off?

please answer only if you know for sure!!

texas laws are wired, they arent like everyone else so they could easily be diffrent? i say wack like bad not killer!

i dont live in texas anymore, so would i do camm service here or there?

It is really two different issues. The first is a civil matter, but you did take care of that. The second is the criminal matter, which you still have a warrant for. You are not likely to go to jail for this, but they may make you do community service and go to a check writing class. Since you did pay it off, they will be more lenient.

Ok, how is your having a warrent for breaking the law being out of wack??? Sounds like you did the crime now afraid to do the time. Just pay the fine you'll be good.

ya can't pay off a warrant, it has to be served and then ya go to jail plus a fine, which in your case will have to be paid in CASH!
