Assuming by 'Coke' you mean Coca-Cola - either specifically or as a stand-in for all sodas - a case can be made either way. On the one hand it might be better not to tempt students with sugary drinks, but many of the 'healthy' alternatives aren't so great either. Apple juice and many 'juice drinks' are little better than soda, and grape juice has 40% more sugar than Coca-Cola; 'sport' drinks have a high glycemic index which causes 'sugar crash' later and can increase long-term diabetes risk.
It's really disconcerting to see the flippant attitude people have about cocaine here. COCAINE KILLS. These people should have to watch a few overdose cases and tend to some 'crie du chat' babies before making jokes about it.

Coke shouldn't be banned from the cafeteria. If the school wants to make money or something, that's a good way to do it because I as a teen, would want to buy a coke every once in a while at school.
Cocaine is already banned from my school....no drugs allowed....

Do you mean coke as in coca-cola? Then yes. And are kids in high school actually bringing cocaine to school?? Man, I am fondly recollecting my high school years where smoking pot in behind the school was the worst thing we ever did.

It is a fact that cocaine use by teens at lunch has greatly increased their scores on all standardized tests our studies show that even a quarter split between 2 teenagers can greduce the risk of obesity in teens and increases athletic ability in even the most nonathletic children so please vote no against banning cocaine in schools America needs cocaine our future and our grandchildrens future depends on it.
