Person dies, usually they don't show her stumbling, slurring -- and search their files for the worst-light to show them? Is it because there's 0 family members left to defend her dignity? Is this why she a mess?

Unfortunately, it's about ratings. The media covers and reports on what people want to watch. It's a reflection on us consumers. And when someone chooses to live their life so publicly, they will die in the same manner. It's all very sad. Hopefully, Anna Nicole is at peace now.

I think that she is just like any other junkie dead chick. She shouldn't get mass media coverage because she was Playmate of the Year a long time ago and because she was a complete train wreck. Does it suck that she died? Absolutely. Does it suck that this baby is left alone for the rest of her life without her mommy? You better believe it. Do I care that Anna Nicole Smith died? Not particularly. Instead of the news talking about actual topics: war, hunger, politics, etc., they are wasting my time by talking about her death. She was a trainwreck from the begining. It's no suprise that her demise was as such. Oh, and PS, if she were constantly high and messed up all of the time while she were alive, why defend any dignity (or lack thereof, in my opinion) when she had none while she was alive? She was a wreck when she was alive. That doesn't change just because she died.

Hope this helps!

I think its disgraceful, but she would have loved it. She was a media hound and loved being in front of the cameras, she was forever flashing photogs and wriggling her hips and pouting. She was what she was, and dignity really didn't enter into it. Making a splash was what she lived for, the real sadness is that she had so many hangers on with no regard for her health and welfare, all of them looking to make a buck off her and not caring how they did it, that's what burns me.
Lord help that poor child I hope some judge has the sense to get the DNA straightened out so she isn't the child with five daddies. Most men would run from that, isn't it amazing what the possibility of millions of dollars in executor fees will do to make the 'daddies' come out of the woodwork. I don't think that child should be with any of them without significant ongoing visits by a social services caseworker and a forensic accountant appointed by the courts.

She was a mess when she was alive, but funny I still liked her she was kinda the under dog, and it helped that she was attractive too.

I just left the Ft. Lauderdale court house its a media overload there press everywhere talking bout the judge on the case he's at that court house who will rule what happens to the body eventually.
Sad but the corroner in Dania beach (right near my home) says her body is deteriorating rapidly, basically rotting I guess. How horrible to do that to her body at least they could put her to rest, she was still a person no matter how she lived her life.

The media seems to believe that there are people who want to, need to and/or have a right to this type of news. I don't. I wish my opinion could stop this type of cruelty.
As for me I will continue to change the channel on the TV, avoid reading the articles and/or gossiping about the poor woman.

They do this to famous people. That's where the idea for pics being worth money. This has been going on since Marilyn Monroe and she is still famous as are alot of other dead actors. I doubt that Anna can depend on being famous long after death.

She was a mess of a person. It is a very interesting story. I am not a celebrity watcher at all but I find this almost as interesting as the OJ thing.

Dignity would never be a word to describe her life...why bother now? She loved the camera, and would to anything for media attention...she should be delighted.
