I would have a really fun time being "devil for a day"!
I would start early and go to bed late, that's for sure.
Probably the usual revenge things first, make people grow warts, hair, tails, etc. Then switch people from their beds into other beds while they were still asleep (he he). Making people wake up with a different person they went to bed with and wonder what happened. Then create some "false memories" and get those people in trouble with their spouses.
Turn a few people into toads maybe. Transfer funds out of some people's accounts and make them totally untraceable, so that they are truly lost. Then I would hide the lost money in places where anyone could find it, if they are lucky enough to look. Money would be out of the hands of the rightful owners, into the hands of the "lucky".
Probably mess with the weather all over the world. Make some terrific storms, cause aurora borealis at the equator and make illusions of aliens in the night sky. Create illusions of monsters, ghosts, and all sorts of scary creatures to freak everyone out.
Maybe these aren't so wild, but oh well.
And then, I would have to make my dream come true about the messy grocery store. This is a dream I really had as a kid, that everything was overturned in the produce department of a pathmark, and melons, oranges, apples, everything was rolling all over the floor. People were bowling with fruit in the aisles and everyone everywhere was slipping and falling. Anyway, I woke up laughing and never forgot the dream, so I would have to make this happen if I became "devil for the day".

OK, first of all, I would make sure that OJ would pay all of his money to the brown/Goldman family. Then, I would make him admit his guilt of the murder worldwide. I would make the fed govt charge OJ w/ murder, since the first was just a state court.
Then, I would make everyone that has ever raped, murdered, or molested anyone go to the police station and start confessing.
Convince everyone that sex is not bad. And finally, I would make my daughter a actress.

I would fill people's heads and make them believe that most others are evil and doomed. I would tell them no one really loves anyone but themselves. I would whisper negative things in their ears before they made decisions. And then I would find someone willing to announce that America is The Only Great Satan (and not I) thereby inciting them to kill and destroy the planet. Game over. Only had one day so my time was limited.

Well the only power I will have is to suggest things to people and appear as a person and do things in front of people. Well for me I will become a bombshell professor and will go to the accounting colleges and tease the boys there and do some flashing.

I would make everyone believe that all religions are totally wrong and there is nothing after life and see what chaos comes from it. Also I would hang out with porn stars.
