Sound and video playack cuts out now and again, so basically stops for a few seconds, then continues. This has only just happened since i upgraded to Vista, could it be that my processor is taking too much of a thrashing, so it stops the video/sound when its working too hard, i have 512mb but it does this when no other programs are running, just for example itunes. Could it also e any problem with the soundcard, or maybe something, thanks.

It is happening because you dont have enough resources. It probably takes the whole 512 of memory you have just to run the OS. I suggest upgrading the memory alot.

sounds like a hardware problem.try unplugging the sound card for a few seconds, and plug it back in.restart your computer then try.if you dont have a removable PCI sound card you should get one.this usually will solve that problem.

Reinstall drivers, if its a PCI card, try moving it to a different slot on the board.
