they should draft michael bush from louisville to team up with parker. one of the reasons that pittsburgh won the super bowl 40 was because they had that small back / big back system working with parker and bettis. it works well because parker, although he is a good rb, can't get those tough 3rd and 1 type of yards. that is what they need michael bush for.
i know that bush broke his leg last season and missed all but one game, but he is such a nice prospect, i think it would be worth it for the steelers to pick him up with their second round pick if he is available.

The steelers still have time to look around through the draft hopefuls during the NFL combine on February 28th. Still they have been looking at, Michael Bush from Louisville and Lorenzo Booker from Florida. There are also some great free agents on the Free Agents list this year including Dominic Rhodes from the Colts, and Ron Dayne from the Texans two players that would be a tremendous pick up for the Steelers.

Dominic Rhodes would be a great pickup. He is a guy who is a hard nosed runner and does not mind a running back by commitee situation. He would make Parker even better. There is not another Bettis so they should not try to attempt to find that again by finding a beast of a back. I will admit Jamal Lewis is intriguing as well but I still say Rhodes would be best and I would have said it before the Super Bowl for all you thinking I am jumping on a bandwagon.

They probably want to take some of the work load off of little Willie. Even though Willie is a very underrated power runner, they probably want someone to do some short yardage and goal line running. Otherwise Parker can run on any other down and its pretty good at catching the ball.

Well, Dominc Rhodes will be a free agent.
He just came of off a 113 game in the SB.
Plus he's use to being the second back.
He was at Indy behind Joseph Adai.
You might even consider T.J. Duckett.
He's also a free agent this spring.
He's not as productive and is sort of injury prone.
They mey get him cheaper too.
I still like Dominic Rhodes better.

they have probally the fastest running back in the game, Willie Parker. They also have a Huge fulback/running back Najeh Davenport. Davenport runs the ball on third downs. they also have Duece Stalley who was hurt all last year. They might pick up Jamal Lewis if the Ravens drop him. Watch out for the draft.

Mendenhall is scary yet unproven. And the Steelers do not have the finest perfect one-2 punch. precise 5, although the Colts take the cake, with Addai and bringing decrease back Dominic Rhodes. do not ignore the Vikings, both. Adrian Peterson is massive, and Chester Taylor is an particularly sturdy decrease back. Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew are also making something massive in Jacksonville.

They already have one, I hope Tomlin gives him a chance ,
Cowher sure didnt... .John Kuhns ... I was really impressed
with him in camp Lead stats in preseason games. Big and
a very hard runner.6 ft almost 260 also fast. I picked up on
Parker in camp also....several years ago. Cowher kept him
on the team , but did not play him much, not sure why..
Kuhns came from a small Pa. college in division 11 , Set all
kinds of rushing records free agent as was Parker..

They could pick up Jamaal Lewis if he's dropped, but they should draft someone like Kenny Irons from Auburn.
