Go to your doctor. They'll give you a papsmear/check-up, talk about what the best one for you is and then give you a prescription. If you do not have medical insurance you can go to a Planned Parenthood or any medical clinic. Depending on the pill you will generally start the first Sunday after your period. You take them once a day at the same time every day. When you get them prescribed to you the doctor will give you info on them and they will come with a pamphlet giving you info as well.

You need to go to your general care physician or gynecologist and tell them that you'd like to go on birth control. Your doctor will talk about possible side effects and desired results to see which pill is right for you. Birth control pills trick your body into thinking it's already pregnant by infusing the body with extra female hormones. You take pills for 24 days and take four days off usually and then start the next month of treatment. There are some side-effects to birth control and you should really look into that before you choose what pill is right for you. There are also alternative birth control methods and you should discuss those with your doctor too.

If you don't have a primary care physician, then go to Planned Parenthood. If you qualify, you can get the birth control pills at not cost to you and confidentially if need be. They give you an insurance card that is good for one year and you can get your check ups there too.

You must take one each day at the same time.

well i am guessing that you are young or you would not have to ask this question. Start by talking to your parents/parent or whatever the case by be. It is best to be honest with them what your plans are. Be careful and make good choices
