As the old woman said to King Arthur when he was challenged with such a question:
Women want their own way.

Own way being something broad and can only be defined by the woman herself. We want things the way we feel comfortable, enjoyable. What ALL women want can't be defined as a general whole with one word; we're all different physically.

If we're so different in our physical make-up, why can't we be different on the inside? To clutter us all into one category such as "Women" only puts us together by one factor: our gender. But our likes and dislikes are always the other end to a paradox with another woman's.

Sorry if this is a bit confusing, but this is how I partially see it;

Women want their men to be sensitive, except when they want them to be assertive, and they must know which one the woman wants them to be at all times.

Women want men to listen, except those times when they need their man to lay it on the line with no BS, again, the man is expected to know which one the woman wants him to be at all times.

Women want their men to be spontaneous, except when doing so is not the most responsible thing to do under given circumstance. Again, the guy must know which to be at all times.

Women want men who are honest, except when they ask them about age, weight, appearance of the woman, are they too bossy, too snoopy, too flighty, too shallow.

LOLZ. Actually, their is no one set of qualities a woman looks for in a guy. Good Looks, Confidence, a sense of humor (not a clown), Warmth, strength, a good listener. Some women value certain qualities more than others, just as men value different qualities in women to varying degrees.
