Why is it that a woman feels like a man shouldn't understand that a man could understand and further support her choice?

edit note; I am not opposed to abortion, as I see it I am prolife, I am for the life of the mother to be. Before abortion was legal we had back allee abortions leaving youg women dead or infertle. As bad as it is to lose a child it is twice as bad to lose both. Further more the only ones that this would effect is the poor or lower middle class, folks that do not have the funds to fly where ever it is legal, rich girls still get theirs

Because it IS her body. As much as a man WANTS to understand, there is no possible way that he can. Having a supportive partner in life is truly a treasure, but that only works if he genuinely accepts that the final decision will be made by her. I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for, but in my mind, if a man is not prepared to be in the situation of having to make these kinds of decisions, he should not be having sex. This is what we should be teaching our young people.

first off....... abortions wrong you and the rest of the women out there decided to have sex and you know the risk involed and getting pregnant is one. It's not the baby fault but it's your if you make the wrong decision and thats getting an abortion. Dont take away its life b/c you want to live your. Wether your with guy who loves you or not and they left you b/c you are pregnant then you got played. Havign a baby should be a happy moment. Trust me if any women who has an abortion you will regret it later on down the road. What they do in the proscess of abortion its more painful for you then the baby, They pull the baby down during contractions and break the neck of the baby then on at a time they rip the baby apart one by one. Now what do you think about abortion are you for it or not.?

The real issues is the baby. It did not have a choice and the adults are responsible for that life. The baby is a human that adults are to provide for, protect, nurish, and look out for.

I know of several people that were born from rape situations and those individuals have done really well in life and good for man kind because a mother decided not to punish a child for something that was out of it's control.

Because a man can't fully understand what is it to be a woman making that decision. Just like a woman can't understand how powerless a man feels when she makes a decision like that and he has no say in the matter.

I dunno...but DOES a woman know what your prostate feels like or if you are in danger and need it removed?

Do you go through 9 months of blowing up like a balloon and then you have to PUSH hard or get a C-section?

Okay the prostate is not like the baby birth or abortion but you get my gist.

Did you know that in certain US states that if a male wants to get a vasectomy(males reproductive tubes cut) he needs to get the permission from his wife to sign a form or else the doctors wont do it?

You should make a decision about your own body and not have to be restricted or influenced by someone else.

How would YOU like it if you wanted/NEEDED to get something done like this and someone simply said NO YOU CANNOT!

Btw i'm a male writing this FYI.

Bottom line is that it takes TWO people to make a baby(unless its test tubes or something) but those same TWO people needed to take responsibility. If you DONT like the situation you should have NEVER gotten her pregnant and by this same token please leave GOD out of it!!

Wether or not a man supports her choice is irrelevant. He has no say in it. Trying to "support her decision" is merely trying to assert that he has some measure of control.

A woman have a choice to choose what she wants to do. If it is the right thing all well and good; but if it is the wrong thing I would say, "Lord have mercy on your soul." Just remember that an abortion is wrong and it is also murder, in which God says, "thou shall not kill." And also remember this, you will give an account to God what you have done on this earth. Me, myself, I will not support any one choice if it is the wrong choice.
