My first Disney film was The Great Locomotive Chase (1957) a live-action adventure based on a real Civil War espionage mission, starring Fess Parker and Jeff Hunter. I loved old steam locomotives and this one had several! Plus it was filmed in Cinemascope, which for a six-year-old was a memorable experience. I was already a fan of the Mickey Mouse Club and the Disneyland tv shows, which had been running trailers of the movie for several weeks, so I was very, very ready to go see it at the movies!

When i was 7 I lived in germany i got a chance to watch my first movie (s) and it was a Disney movie. It was Darby O'Gil and the Little People,a nd right after that we got to watch "Chitty chitty Bang Bang", and then we got to watch "Mary Poppins".
So i acutally Have three 1st Walt Disney Movies.

Mine too was Snow White. My mom took the three of
us children to Saturday matinee and had to bring us
all out because we were crying because the wicked
step-mother frightened us so much when she dressed
as an old witch in the forest!!!

Mine was "The Jungle Book" at the cinema when I was about 4. That night, I dreamt that Baloo was evil, that he kidnapped me and took me to King Louis who was a giant ape the size of a building, and he was going to eat me! I remember that dream like it happened yesterday - strange how some things stay with you, isn't it?
