Delete them in the usual way. When the window opens that says the files are read-only, click the "Yes to all" box. They will delete just fine unless you are trying to delete them from the CD itself.

To remove the "read only" property from a file, right click on the files and select Properties from the menu. You will see a "Read Only" check box near the bottom of the window. Uncheck that.

Note that you can only remove the "read only" from files on your computer. You can not remove the "read only" properties from a file on a CD or DVD or from a file you are accessing over a network. You would have to copy the file to your hard drive to be able to remove the "read only" from such a file.

You can simplt delete them or change them from Read Only.

Click to higihlight the file\s then Right Click. Click on Properties & UNcheck the READ ONLY Box
