what do you like and hate about internet?

i like...that its a way to connect the world - i can speak with people across the globe quickly and without delay. its very quick means of communication and you can watch television, doenload shows, music, shop, watch movies, etc. which is kind of frightening when you ponder over it - the internet may even take over the world one day! lol i also like that its a quick way for the media to get news to the public(however rediculous the news may be we still seem to eat it up!) there are a lot of other reasons - it saves a lot of paper. i kind of wish schools converted completely from paper to computers and internet as well as newspapers. it would help the environment A LOT. im sure there are a million other things but i cant think of any...

i hate....the fact that a lot of ppl misuse the internet in dangerous ways like the retarded attention deprived idiotic teenagers (im 17 myself) that try to meet their "soul mates" who are really online predators trying to get some action. online stalking and bullying on chatrooms and message boards i hear is a growing problem in schools..i once read an article that told the story of a boy commiting suicide and he was bullied online by classmates. porno is a problem but my only real concern is how easy it is for kids to access destructive information online like that and other things - ive read articles in magazines and seen programs on the news talking about children getting "assisted suicide" information and diagrams on how to kill yourself and get abortions. there are fake cults online that instruct kids to be self destructive and the children dont seem to realize its just someone being pathetic and sick..lol im going to stop because i could go on forever lol

Too much advertising.When something says that it is free so I get on the site and then I find out that it really is not free at all.Most things that you want to order are supposed to be paid with a credit card but I do not have any credit cards.I like the most that I have made some friends on the internet and we email each other with letters and jokes.

I like:
- Learning interesting stuff I would never learn in school
- Learning about products before I buy them
- Watching videos about stuff I would never see or hear on TV, stuff I have always wanted to see

I dislike:
- Being disconnected in the middle of a game
- Unreliable wireless connections (before a firmware or driver update)
- Adware, Spyware, Malware, Viruses, and computer slowdowns resulting from these. That's why I'm getting Windows Vista with my new computer!

I easily have continuously used IE because i began on the cyber web in 1998. not in any respect had an endemic or any malware. it continuously works. IE7 replaced into large progression in the course of the last variations, and that i love IE8 even more desirable sensible. those who say IE sucks, do not particularly recognize what they're conversing about, they're only going by technique of the negative hype that others say about IE. I doubt any of them have ever used a workstation for more desirable than a pair of years and imagine they're professionals.
