Open outlook, click on tools- Email Accounts- Addd new, click next, select pop 3, click next, in your name put in your name, email address- your yahoo email address, in pop 3 and smtp goes: pop.mail.yahoo.com & smtp.mail.yahoo.com , on username goes your email address without the yahoo.com click on more settings and then the advanced tab, in out going server (smtp) put in: 587

You are setup to yahoo pop3 on Ms- Outlook.

Look up the mail servers and account details from Yahoo and then input the details into Outlook.

Greedy ol' Yahoo makes you pay 20 bucks for the plus membership in order to use Outlook. Then they give you the info.

Gmail owns- www.gmail.com

from different ISPs. without opening the email server/s.

'Officially'. this is no longer possible, as Yahoo! dropped mail
client access way back in 2002. To the best of my knowledge
it hasn't been re-instated, nor are there any plans to do so.
After all, hits and links mean big business, which brings in lots
of pennies/cents.

'Unofficially' of course, there is a way... :o)
