Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Sometimes our first reaction is not the best choice. There are instances when the delay lets us consider the situation more deeply and come up with a wider range of choices.

Sometimes the delay gives the situation a chance to change, opening better possibilities.

Instant action is not always the best choice. It can be frustrating for people who think they know what should be done and why aren't you doing it? But patience can be as effective as movement.

Sometimes.

Because so many people are becoming addicted to immediate- gratification. Doing stuff you have to do to live isn't always fun so why do it.
