Most "drawers" beneath a sink are faux drawers to make your kitchen look better. Normally the plumbing and sink itself make it hard to put a drawer there. If your sink ever leaked it would ruin the drawer and maybe the stuff in it.

seriously why the hell do we need those fake drawers. wouldn't it be easier to just not cut those two holes there and leave it alone. its not like the people at the fake drawer factory are fooling anybody.

No, they are glued on there, but somehow, even though they are decorative, they seem to need to be reglued once in a while.....hmmmm.......Strange now that you mention it! Someone is trying to creep into my faux drawers!

yes--we keep cleaners and sponges and extra napkins in there--when we had a cat we used to keep the catfood down there too
