I thought last night's episode was messed up. I was completely confused as to what the heck was going on. Well more of what the heck was going to happen now, seeing how Desmond seemed to have traveled back in time.
It was a long episode just to get to the last few minutes where they leave you at Desmond has been trying to save Charlie because he's going to die.

not too confused. It was pretty cut and dry. The turning of the key threw Desmond into some sort of dimensional tailspin where he ended up back in the past...already knowing what the future held, b/c he was already there. Seems simple enough to me. Why? What are your questions?

I think it was more a vision/flashback instead of going back into the past and it just incorporated events up until now.
