The parking lots are there for you to walk out and toss your cookies, clean up your face and walk back in for another round.

Or how about drive-thru Daquir Bars, yep they have those here in Lousiana.
Or why do they sell beer by the can in gas stations?
Parking Lot at a Bar makes a whole lot more sense. There are people who to go bars and maintain under the dui limit.

For one thing the employees have to park somewhere. I'm not sure where you are but where I live you are allowed to have a blood alcohol level of under 0.06 and still drive. If you're at the bar for a few hours, maybe watching a sporting event you should be able to have two drinks and still drive unless you're a very petite person.

The law is:
a) It's against the law to be drinking while driving
b) It's against the law to be driving under the influence
Meaning, it's not illegal to drive after you've been drinking as long as you haven't had over the legal limit. Therefore, parking lots are kind of non-issues in this arena. HOWEVER, you should never drive while under the influence of anything!

Some people are actually responsible and use a DD. They need something to drive. You can have fun at a bar without drinking!

Because they expect responsible driver to have a DD with them when they are drinking. Meaning if you think you gon catch few drinks at the local bar then you might want to grab someone who dont drink at all but like to hang out or someone who volunteered to be a designated driver. We usually rotate with that in military.....you definitely getting picked once a week you know. :)

would you and a bunch of your friends go to a bar riding on the bus when you could just take car? LOL I seriously doubt it. Besides its much more comical to see which idiot friend at the end of the night stagger around playing Rock, Scissors, Paper to see who is less drunk to drive.

Because not everyone gets above the legal blood alcohol limit when they go to bars.
Plus, think about it from a business standpoint. No one is going to come to your bar if you have no place to park. Bad for business.

Because most people can stop and have one drink and be able to safely drive home. It's against the law to be intoxicated and operating a vehicle.
