Ok, so I am 25, a 2nd degree black belt, and I love to bowl and go to the movies. I have been thinking a lot about taking a break from martial arts to learn other things / new hobbies/sports.

So my question is this, what are some interesting cool hobbies, or sports I can learn. I thought it would be cool to make a list of things I want to learn and do a new thing each month. Social / group / sports are particularly interesting to me, and things with interest groups so I could meet new people.

Some Ideas I have had was Pool, Tennis, skating/ice skating, A different martial art ( I take taekwondo) various sports(especially ones that will further improve my balance and coordination for martial arts)

Thanks.

Rock climbing, scuba diving, kickboxing, and frisbee golf are fun activities. You may also try learning different weapons in your martial arts class. My mom is working on her 2nd degree black belt in tae kwon do and a first degree black belt in weapons. She has a lot of fun performing katas with swords and bo.

If you are in East Asia, why not try badminton? There are many on-line groups in South East Asia who play in Court Queing. Badminton is fun and you can meet many other people who has the same interest in the sport. However, beware of *** holes :)

It's a great team sport .... very social.
It will definitely help with your agility. Lots of quick starts/stops/changes of direction. Lots of air time. Will improve your endurance.
Lots of fun!!!!
