No, Ryan Leaf was the worst quarterback ever. Give Eli some time and a better set of team mates to work with.

Eli is not the worst QB ever. He is young and he makes bad decision and the fact that he plays for the most undisciplined team in the league doesnt help. He has shown some progress but its like when he takes one step forward the stupid play of his teamates pushes him two steps back. No QB can be effective when they are constantly in 3rd and long situation. With that said it doesnt really seem like Eli listened to anything Kurt Warner had to teach him.

He can't possibly be the worst QB ever...yet. Personally, between him and another "fantastic" NY QB, Kerry Collins, I'd take Eli, despite the fact that he is a complete headcase, and Collins at least took the Giants to the Super Bowl. Eli is too young to rush to judgement, and although there is potential there, I can't imagine it coming out anytime soon, if ever.
As for Ryan Leaf, possibly, but let us not forget Akili Smith. I come from a long line of terrible Philadelphia QB's in the recent past, ranging from Bobby Hoying, Ty Detmer, and Bubby Brister, so my biased opinion would probably select one of them.

Eli is average, its unfair if you're trying to comapre him to his brother. If you want to find the worst quarterback ever, just fing Todd Blackledge.

Neither one. He's trying to be a better quarterback like his older brother & his dad, but it's hard sometimes trying to escape from the shadows of his family.

He is definitely not the worst ever. He wont ever be as good as his brother is now. He will get better though, he just has to eliminate stupid throws and learn how to yell at his receivers that give up on balls thrown their way (Plaxico). He is an average QB and has the potential to a to be above average.

You're a moron. He's only averaging 25 TD passes and 3,500 yards a season. He's QB'd his team to the playoffs twice in his 2 years as a starter.
