I absolutely love it! :-)
For over a decade now, since graduating from high school, I have spent about 95% of my life barefoot. I enjoy all the textures, the varying temperatures (nothing like hot sands, or really cold concrete) and the feeling of real freedom for my tootsies. I love getting blackened soles.
One of my absolute favorite places to be barefoot is at a theater. Some barefooters don't like the sometimes sticky floors, but for some reason I really like it a great deal. If you enjoy walking barefoot, please look into the Society for Barefoot Living:

I love walking around barefoot. In fact, I love it so much that when I leave the house, I stay barefoot. I love the feeling of all the different surfaces and textures I can expierience by being barefoot. Imagine if you had to wear gloves every time you left the house and were deprived the sensory input through you hands every where you went.

I am 57 and i still walk around barefooted.

YES. Like Galbox, Sheriam, amd Peter F, I NEVER wear any footwear. I go Completely Barefoot indoors and outdoors,
anywhere and everywhere. I also like having Dirty Feet, and I even go to bed with Dirty Feet, as, of course, I go Barefoot before I go to bed also.

Yes, I walk barefoot everywhere, all the time. It's so much better than wearing shoes!

at times, yes. but it depends. if its on the beach, or in my house when the floor has just been wiped or around my house in the dirt when i just want to take a breather and be one with nature.
but not when its on gravel especially when i've just come out of the pool and all the stones are digging into my feet or in places where there may potentially be an ant's nest(biting ants that is) or something like that.

walking around barefoot is one of my favorite things to do. it makes me feel more connected to nature.
