As of now, all working P2P softwares are legal.. Cause if it wasn't it would be put on stop.. Like sharaeza for example.. The court stopped their site from working after due process..

Sites from Russia and Sealand since in those conrties there are no copyright laws. (Although legal downloads that you don't have to pay for will usually be a bit of a grey area.)

I don't think it's legal to download free music,you have to be careful with some sites as they can cause viruses,and they might have spy ware.Your safer to use a pay per month site or a cheap download site,i use allofmp3.com,it's russian but it is so cheap.

I use iTunes to get there free song of the week HMV digital to get their free song od the week - both require registration

Myspace but the downloads have changed to open in quick time and you need to purchase the pro version to save downloads (not sure if this is supposed to happen)
