I just got over the flu and I was blowing it A LOT...The strange thing is that it is sore at the top like the bridge of my nose and it only hurts when I cough, or bend over so baiclly when blood rushes to that area. Like I said it's the TOP of the nose and has NOTHING to do with the nostrils. It almost feels like it's bruised is this a possibility?

The pain might be from BEHIND your nose. Remember there is a lot of air space higher than your nostrils and nose bridge. I would try a saline nasal rinse (not a spray.),a full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean). The buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot.

You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. If you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis.

It could be you've got a sinus infection. They hurt like your describing. Sometimes they can make your forehead hurt too, or give you a headache. Try taking sudifed or something. I hope you feel better.
