I sent a samsung Z400 back to t-mobile and cancelled my contract as they had their logo almost in the middle of the screen obscuring my wallpaper pics' when I enquired they told me it couldn't be removed so now I'm with virgin.

It depends on yoru phone - but you could try a Factory Reset - this will most likely sort the problem and this is on the Settings or Tools menu on most phones
