There are a number of places... all of them are (basically) in the same vicinity: Tampa St & Madison St. Some good ones off the top of my head that I've enjoyed are Au Rendez-vous (French) and Pita's Republic (a healthy chain). There are a number of Thai places around the corner as well as a pizza shop and various other food places.
Also, across the central "green block," are some places in a walkway in between the Verizon building and another tall office building. It's got a huge fountain, you can't miss it.

Brocato's on Columbus Ave. near 50th street. I't always packed because the food is great and you get a lot for your money. It is a Spanish lunch restaurant, also open on Saturdays till 3pm, closed on Sundays. Try the roast pork dinner with black beans, yellow rice and cuban bread, it is so moist, tender, delicious flavor. Try a stuffed potato, home made and huge they are 2.99, just about a meal in themselves. They also have a nice cuban sandwich tray, finger cut for a party, but you have to call ahead to order them.
