How far water liles grow in a day

There are many varieties of water lilies and each has it's own distinctive growth characteristics. As a general rule, water lilies are thought of as a rather fast growing aquatic plant. As to how much they grow in a day, there is no definitive answer. Much depends on water temperature, length of daylight, depth of water, nutrients present in the water, and on and on and on.
