Airport stores are convenient stores and everything is more expensive at a convenient store.

Everything is hiked up at least 20% at the airport stores. They figure that if you are shopping there, then they have the market. There is only one of whatever kind of store in their and a person is not going to leave the airport just to have to go through it all again. So they make out by charging more. You are better off going to Wal-Mart for that.

Always cheaper in a store not in the airport. Airport prices are always jacked up to be higher.

Places like airports have captive audiences, so they can charge crazy prices. I doubt that any airport would have cheap prices, plus you can't get back to the shops without a boarding pass. The only way to know for sure is to compare prices, but you'll have to wait until you're going on a trip to do it.

It is probably cheaper to purchase in a local store. Buying locally gives you more options for finding the best deal. However your largest savings earned would probably be on-line.

Leave the airport and buy one in a store. Even with cab fare you will save money.

Always a local store. Better yet, use an online auction if you want a used one, or buy direct from manufacturer a refurbished one.
