I need a WW1 specific topic?

in my history class, the teacher gave us an assignment about ww1. i need a specific topic that i can talk about and quote for about like 5-10 pages. the topic can be about anything. a little help?

it has to be specific, so writing on how it started and how it was caused wonnt help :/ and also it doesnt have to be about the war. it can be anything during that time period in america. i like the trench so far.

It was the first (and remains one of only a few) wars in which poisonous gas was used as a battlefield weapon. Mustard gas and Chlorine and Phosgene, and all that stuff.

Or there is also the story af Alvin C. York, a fellow Tennessean who won the C.M.H.
