I am writing a story and I need a good name for a 85 year old man in medieval time. In his early years he was strong and well built. He is well spoken and very smart despite his age. When he was younger he was rebellious and started an army against the kingdom.
I need a good name! Suggestions please!

Barbas McGuire

The first name is taken from a character on "Charmed". The last name just sort of came to me. He always sounds gruff as an old man, but sexy and rebellious as a young man.

Have a lovely rest of the day.

Probably a good place to start is to look at baby name/meaning sites. These are typically divided by origin and gender.

Here's some odd trivia for you: the Social Security Administration has a website that tracks the most popular names given to children in the US.

Well, he must be strong, since most people in medieval time didn't even make it past their 60's.

I'd say......Granitacus
