The name Hilary Raquel?

Hilary is a very prep-school name and Raquel is more of a sex kitten name. They really do not mesh.

The 2 dont go together. Hilary is ok though. Im not crazy about Raquel. But its not my baby, so what I think doesnt really matter. Good Luck.

It doesn't fit together well at all when you say it outloud. It's awkward. You go straight from saying the "ry" of Hillary (better with two L's) to the "Ra" of Raquel. It's hard to explain, but say it outloud and you'll see. I think Raquel Hillary flows better, even though Hillary is a prettier name. Maybe you should think of a new middle name that doesn't start with R to avoid the double R's in a row, such as Hillary Amber or Hillary Lynn. (I like Hillary Amber). Go to a baby names web site and search for names to use as the middle name. Good luck and congratulations!

I like Raquel but I do not like Hilary.
Hillary with two L's if you must use it.

I would spell Hillary with two L's like it is supposed to. I am not sure I would use Raquel as a second name though. It sounds off with Hillary. Hillary means Cheerful. Perhaps find something that matches with the meaning and the sound of the name.

Hilary reminds me too much of old Mrs. Clinton.
Hillary seems a bit more hip, fun and feminine.
I like Hillary Rachel better. Raquel to me sounds too odd...an typically ethnic named mixed with a normal name...different!

i think two L's would be better...i don't know why. I also like the name, Hillary Raquel just because it blends really well. Good luck with the baby!

I don't like the name Hilary, or the name Raquel. They just aren't pretty, and remind me of an old lady. It seems to me like you are like me and perfer less used names. Names I like and think are pretty are Cheyenne Elizabeth, Ellianna Marie, and Naomi Alexa
